Laura L DO NOT DO IT! I found this movie after bingeing the current popular Netflix series and seeing the amazing chemistry between Bell and Brody. Silly me. All the chemistry and fine acting in the world can't turn a horribly written screenplay into a great movie. I watched it in the background at work anyway, just to get it off my 'continue watching...' on Prime feed.....I didn't want to be constantly reminded of my poor life choices. If the goal was for us to hate, and I mean HATE, the lead character, then it was successful. The lead character is a self-absorbed lying CREEP. From being a cheater to a child molester, he successfully displays every characterisitc of a raging narcissist and gaslighter - there is not one redeemable quality about him. The only way this movie could have been better was if he was stabbed and bled out alone in the hotel room. Besides that, it moves along slowly and is rather unbelievable - no woman in her right mind would meet up with a guy she hasn't seen in 15 years in his hotel room. It's a shame money was spent to make this movie and I feel bad for anyone who wasted their cash on seeing this in a theater. Garbage. 'He wants to clean the air and be fresh.' The first is his high school sweetheart; Seattle area, who he dumped before prom. Then his fling in Chicago who would still sleep with him. He goes to Boston to see the older married woman he had an affair with that got caught and her husband forgave her. No kidding she was pissed. Then his best friend's sister who was not a teenager yet when he kissed her that messed her up as she said she was no longer a Barbie playing little girl as things woke up in her. The last is his college girl who it looks like he would blow off the wedding if she went back to him. All the while he tape records everything for his new book. As he sits on the plane to go back to NYC he flirts with the stewardess and looks like he is going to go for her. It ends. As anybody could see this idiot is not ready for marriage or any commitment with woman ever. Why did any of the females in this movie take the role?? They are all good actresses that deserved better than this, what ever? Coming from a lady who has survived continents Asia and Africa and yes American military zones, I wish for Adam J Brody wonderful happiness. Bless your talent and abilities forever. The whole cast presents the law persecute the perp no matter when threatening offensiveness sounds benign.
